We are super excited to show Adam Curtis’s most recent documentary-
It Felt Like A Kiss - 2009, 54:00
“the story of an enchanted world that was built by American power as it became supreme…and how those living in that dream world responded to it…”
“It Felt Like a Kiss started life as an experimental film I made for the BBC last year. My aim was to try and find a more involving and emotional way of doing political journalism on TV. I decided to make a film about something that has always fascinated me - how power really works in the world. To show that power is exercised not just through politics and diplomacy - but flows through our feelings and emotions, and shapes the way we think of ourselves and the world.”

Hey all,
This week we will be going to the Video Playlist: Do-Overs and New Beginnings screening at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. This is a screening of shot works by: Dani Leventhal, Miranda July, Meredith Monk, George Kuchar, and Walid Raad. All amazing artists! The screening starts at 6:00 PM at the museum (600 S. Michigan Avenue).

BACK TO SCHOOL!!
Hey everyone, this Wednesday the 3290 Film Club is co-hosting a screening of work from “Mount Hudson” the current show in the GBU gallery.
